How Wodies Saved Hands, Marriages, and Became a Global Fitness Phenomenon
Kristina, a stuntwoman with a background in design, was tired of hearing her husband Jeff complain daily about his horribly ripped hands from doing CrossFit. At that time, he was working late nights as a bartender, and when he would squeeze limes into drinks, it would painfully sting his rips.
Not wanting to hear one more thing about it, Kristina decided to create something he could wear to save his hands and their marriage.
She spent the next few days designing a glove that would not only protect his hands but also provide additional wrist support to give him a much more solid grip on the equipment.
Proud of his wife’s slick and functional design, Jeff bragged to all of his box mates about his new gear, and before the end of class, he had already received nine orders for the gloves.
Kristina and Jeff realized that the gloves not only saved their marriage but were also desperately needed by their fellow CrossFitters, as no other premium glove like theirs existed on the market. That same day, Jerkfit was created.
